In a few words, what does being a “Trailblazer” mean to you, and how did your path into wealth management begin?
To me, being a trailblazer means creating paths that didn’t previously exist. It’s about taking the initiative to step into new roles, assume new responsibilities, and embrace leadership opportunities that set the stage for others to follow. A trailblazer is confident, strategic, willing to take risks, and comfortable with the uncomfortable.
My path into wealth management wasn’t linear. About a year after graduating college, I began my career in a recruiting role, but quickly realized it wasn’t fulfilling long-term. I knew I wanted to work in finance, but more importantly, I wanted to help people in a meaningful way. Wealth management offered the perfect combination. It allowed me to make a difference in clients lives while continuously challenging myself. I have learned that ignoring fear and seizing opportunities can lead to unlimited growth in this industry.
When you first entered the industry, what did the landscape look like for women, and what early lessons still shape how you lead today?
When I entered the industry in 2021, women were underrepresented in leadership roles within wealth management. While progress was clearly being made, there was still room for growth, mentorship, and representation.
One of the earliest lessons that continues to shape how I lead is recognizing the unique strengths women bring to this profession. Women have a fantastic ability to deeply understand client’s needs, build trust, and connect on a personal level. That emotional intelligence, paired with technical expertise, is something I lean into every day.
What challenges have you faced along the way, and what mindset or skills helped you push through and keep going?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in this industry is managing unexpected situations while keeping client needs and team priorities aligned. No two days are ever the same. You need to solve complex problems, and quickly. What helps me is a combination of adaptability, curiosity, and focus. I approach challenges as opportunities to learn, whether it’s taking on a new responsibility outside my comfort zone or finding creative solutions when standard processes don’t fit. Staying proactive, asking questions, and keeping a growth mindset have allowed me to not only navigate challenges, but to turn them into moments of progress and development.

Where are you today in your career, and what unique perspectives do you believe women bring to wealth management and leadership?
I am a Senior Relationship Manager working toward the path of Director of Service at Premier Path. I have consistently raised my hand for opportunities regardless of title or pay grade. Wearing multiple hats and being involved across various areas of the business has significantly accelerated my growth. Being challenged and trusted with new responsibilities has shaped me as a professional.
Women bring a distinct perspective to wealth management and leadership through their ability to listen deeply, empathize, and build lasting relationships. They often lead with emotional intelligence, creating environments where teams feel supported, empowered, and motivated to perform at their best.
Looking ahead, what excites you most about the future of women in wealth management, and what advice would you give to the next generation of trailblazers?
What excites me most is the growing presence and influence of women across all levels of wealth management, from client service to leadership to ownership. There is so much opportunity ahead to continue breaking barriers and shaping the future of the industry.
My advice to the next generation of trailblazers is to stay curious and always ask why. Understand the purpose behind every action you take for your clients and shift from being task-oriented to thinking strategically as early as possible. Embrace a lifetime of learning, find growth in every situation, and get comfortable being uncomfortable.
I am grateful to work at a firm that truly values growth. Being supported by leadership that encourages learning, risk-taking, and development has made all the difference in my journey. I am excited not only for what’s ahead in my own career, but also for the opportunity to support and mentor the next generation of women in wealth management.
