In a few words, what does being a “Trailblazer” mean to you, and how did your path into wealth management begin?
Being a trailblazer means leading with intention, setting a standard through your work, your values, and the way you show up for clients and colleagues, while helping expand what leadership in wealth management can look like. I began my career in wealth management in 2010, at a time when the industry was more male-dominated and traditional in its structure. What attracted me to the field was the ability to combine strategic thinking with meaningful, long-term client relationships. From the start, I was motivated by the opportunity to build trust, deliver thoughtful guidance, and help clients navigate important financial decisions, which are principals that continue to guide my work today.
When you first entered the industry, what did the landscape look like for women, and what early lessons still shape how you lead today?
I entered the industry in the period following the Great Financial Crisis, when uncertainty was high and opportunities, particularly for women, felt far less assured. Women were also significantly underrepresented, particularly in leadership and decision-making roles. There were fewer visible role models, which made building confidence, credibility, and perspective early on especially important in an environment where you were often one of very few women at the table. One of the most important lessons I learned early was the value of trust and meaningful relationships, which set the foundation for every successful client relationship, especially during times of uncertainty. Pairing that relationship-first mindset with preparation and technical credibility reinforced the importance of knowing your craft inside and out. Those early lessons continue to shape how I lead today, with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and creating space for diverse voices to be heard.
What challenges have you faced along the way, and what mindset or skills helped you push through and keep going?
One of the challenges faced along the way was learning to actively advocate for yourself while consistently demonstrating the value you bring, especially in an environment that is constantly evolving. I learned early on the importance of being intentional about my goals, proactively seeking opportunities, and taking ownership of my career path rather than waiting for momentum to come to me. Maintaining confidence, staying adaptable, and continuing to refine both my leadership and client-facing skills helped me build credibility over time. That mindset of self-advocacy and accountability has been fundamental in sustaining long-term growth and progress.

Where are you today in your career, and what unique perspectives do you believe women bring to wealth management and leadership?
Today, I am a Partner, Wealth Advisor, and Director of Client Relations at Rose Capital Advisors, and I am proud to be an equity owner of the firm. Earning the partner level has been especially meaningful, as it reflects both professional growth and influence in shaping the firm’s future. Women bring a holistic perspective to wealth management, combining long-term strategic thinking with strong communication, empathy, and analytical rigor, all of which are essential to strong leadership and lasting client relationships.
Looking ahead, what excites you most about the future of women in wealth management, and what advice would you give to the next generation of trailblazers?
I am excited by the growing visibility of women in leadership roles and the increasing number of women entering the industry with confidence and ambition. As the “Great Wealth Transfer” unfolds over the coming decade and a greater share of wealth moves into the hands of women, increased female leadership in wealth management will foster more authentic connection and relatability with this expanding client base. My advice to the next generation is to invest deeply in your expertise, seek out mentors, and don’t hesitate to advocate for yourself. Ownership of your work, your voice, and your ethics matter. The industry is evolving and women will play a vital role in shaping its future.
I am grateful to be a partner of Rose Capital Advisors, a firm that values collaboration, integrity, and strategic thought leadership. The firm’s commitment to its people and clients has played a meaningful role in my growth, and it has been incredibly rewarding to contribute to an environment where leadership is encouraged, diverse perspectives are valued, and the next generation of trailblazers can truly thrive.
